Worthy Publishing is pleased to announce that ECPA has awarded four WorthyKids titles with Sales Achievement Awards. The perennial bestseller The Story of Christmas won the Platinum Book Award, a prestigious award reserved for titles that have sold 1 million copies. Selling 500,000 copies each, The Christmas Story, The Story of Easter and The Easter Story all received Gold Book Awards.
According to ECPA’s website, the “Gold, Platinum and Diamond Book Awards recognize outstanding sales achievement in the publication of quality Christian literature.”
The award-winning titles by author Patricia Pingry are on the bestseller lists year after year, reaching the hearts and minds of little ones with the stories of Christ’s birth and Resurrection. In these books, Pingry, former publisher of Ideals Children’s Books, communicates big truths in simple words young children can understand.
“Patricia Pingry has years of experience distilling important faith messages in ways that engage even the youngest child,” says Peggy Schaefer, Vice President & Associate Publisher, WorthyKids. “We are honored to publish Pat’s titles and grateful for the recognition of their success from ECPA.”
