Williamson Named the Chair of the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association

The Worthy Publishing Group is pleased to announce that Byron Williamson, CEO of Worthy Media, Inc., has been named the new chair of ECPA – the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association. ECPA is composed of the leading publishers of inspirational and Christian books in the U.S., including such names as Tyndale House, HarperCollins Christian Publishing (Thomas Nelson/Zondervan), Baker Books, Simon & Schuster (Howard), and Broadman & Holman.

“I have been involved with the remarkable work of ECPA for a number of years and am honored to be asked to serve as its chair,” said Williamson. ECPA’s awards programs, such as the Kenneth N. Taylor Lifetime Achievement Award and the annual Christian Book of the Year Awards, are vital to our industry.”

Williamson is founder of Nashville-based Worthy Publishing, one of the fastest growing publishers in America. Worthy, the official publisher of the new Museum of the Bible, releases its inaugural list of new books at the museum’s opening in Washington D.C. on November 17, 2017.
