Worthy Publishing Group congratulates authors and staff on recent award nominations from The Advanced Writers and Speakers Association (AWSA) and The Blue Ridge Christian Writers Conference.
The Golden Scroll Awards has named Worthy Publishing as a finalist for Publisher of the Year, honoring the house for its outstanding ministry partnership with its authors. Additional congratulations go to Pamela Clements and Peggy Schaefer for nominations as Non-Fiction Editor of the Year and Fiction Editor of the Year, respectively. Clements is Vice President and Associate Publisher of Worthy Inspired and Ellie Claire imprints and Schaefer serves as Vice President and Associate Publisher of the Worthy Kids and Ideals imprints. Winners will be announced on Sunday, June 26, 2016, at the Advanced Writers and Speakers Association annual conference, which will be held at the Duke Energy Convention Center in conjunction with the 2016 Christian International Retail Show.
The Selah Awards, presented by The Blue Ridge Christian Writers Conference, have recognized Worthy authors Cynthia Ruchti and Michelle Medlock Adams. Ruchti is a finalist in the Fiction: Novella category for her book Endless Christmas (9781617955877, Worthy Inspired). Adams is nominated twice: Her book When Chocolate Isn’t Enough: An Inspirational Survival Guide for Moms (9781617954795, Worthy Inspired) is a finalist in the Inspiration and Gift category and Trunk or Treat (9780824919573, Worthy Kids/Ideals) is also nominated in the Children’s Book category. The Selah Awards will be announced May 25, 2016 at the Blue Ridge Mountains Christian Writers Conference.
